GALAXY 2000 BOOSTER SEAT, MODELS 960 AND 961	Dear Booster Seat Owner: This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
	REASONS FOR THIS RECALL NOTICE Basic Comfort, Inc. has determined that a possible defect relating to motor vehicle safety exists with respect to its Galaxy 2000 Booster Seats, Model 960 or Model 961, with production dates from 11/25/98 through January 31, 1999. The polystyrene seat backs and seat cushions with these production dates may be subject to excessive cracking and separation when occupied and placed under stress and force during an accident which is in noncompliance with FMVSS 213 safety standards requiring that child restraint systems shall exhibit no complete separation or any significant partial separation of any load bearing structural element.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO If you are the owner of a Galaxy 2000 Booster Seat, Model 960 or Model 961 with a production date from 11/25/98 through January 31, 1999 (see attached for instructions on where to locate the production date for your seat), we will replace the polystyrene seat back and seat cushion (seat cushion only for Model 960) free of charge. Please call the toll free telephone number below to arrange to receive your replacement parts and to return the parts you have. You will need to provide us with your name and address, telephone number and the production date indicated on your Galaxy 2000 booster seat.
